$CTOS (5301.MY)$ recorded a 6.3% rise in revenue to RM76.1 million for the first quarter ended 31 March 2025 (1Q25), driven by stronger performance from its Direct-to-Consumer and Key Account segments, alongside steady growth in international markets.

Share of profits from associates surged 54% to RM2.8 million, bolstered by a strong showing from Juris Technologies Sdn Bhd. Profit after tax and minority interest stood at RM14.4 million for the quarter.

The Group announced a first interim single-tier dividend of 0.44 sen per share, translating to a 70% payout ratio, to be paid on July 23, 2025, with the entitlement date set for June 25, 2025.

Group CEO Erick Hamburger said, "We continue to see uptick in revenue as growth opportunities remain abundant both domestically and regionally. Financial institutions are increasingly seeking more sophisticated data and tools for credit analysis, underpinning sustained demand for the Group's offerings."

He added, "In parallel, we have embarked on a series of cost optimisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reallocating resources more effectively. While the benefits will be realised progressively, we expect to see improvements in our cost-to-income ratio over the coming quarters."

As part of a leadership transition, CTOS Digital announced that Loh Kok Leong will assume the role of Interim Group CEO effective May 1, 2025, as Hamburger goes on leave until the end of his tenure on Sept 30, 2025.
