Merit Medical Systems (MMSI) has issued an announcement.
Merit Medical Systems has named Joseph C. Wright as its new President, with his tenure starting May 15, 2024, succeeding Fred P. Lampropoulos who will remain CEO. Wright, previously Merit’s Chief Commercial Officer and boasting a diverse background with companies like Motorola and Micron, has also held several key positions within Merit. As part of his new role, Wright’s salary has been increased to $750,000, his bonus target raised to 50%, and he has received a substantial award of restricted stock units.
