Exclusive Multi-Part Audio Series to Highlight Glass Animals' "Creatures In Heaven" for the Next Eight Weeks on Cumulus Media's Alternative Stations Across the U.S.

ATLANTA, GA – May 13, 2024 — Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces the launch today of the latest installment of its exclusive multi-part audio series, Your Music Plus, featuring exclusive insights and personal stories from GRAMMY-nominated and Diamond-selling British band Glass Animals about the making of their new song, "Creatures In Heaven," the first single from the band's upcoming fourth studio album, I Love You So F***ing Much. The sci-fi inspired album, to be released on July 19th, is introduced by the band's first single, "Creatures In Heaven," out now on Republic Records.

I Love You So F***ing Much is the follow-up to Glass Animals' critically acclaimed 2020 album, Dreamland, which sold over 12 million copies globally and gave life to "Heat Waves," the record-breaking song that became the biggest international hit from a British band in almost 30 years. It was the first song to reach #1 with a single writer and producer since Pharrell's "Happy," and led to the pop world's biggest acts, including Florence Welch, wanting to work with Glass Animals frontman, songwriter, and producer, Dave Bayley.

Cumulus Media's new Your Music Plus feature shares observations behind the birth of "Creatures In Heaven" and I Love You So F***ing Much, which Bayley reveals was an existential crisis, as he found himself struggling to make sense of this newfound global stardom, having watched it all happen while the world was in lockdown. Full of 70s analogue synths and a vast space-scale of production, "Creatures in Heaven" tackles being in the moment amidst chaos.

Greg Frey, VP of Music Partnerships, Cumulus Media, said: "Cumulus Media is delighted to again partner with our friends at Republic Records with Glass Animals' new song "Creatures In Heaven" as the latest Your Music Plus campaign. This pulsing anthem, combined with singer / songwriter Dave Bayley's exclusive audio about the creation of the song, make this a terrific YMP for our Alternative Rock listeners."

Cumulus Media debuted the high-profile Your Music Plus (originally dubbed Your Music First) campaign in February 2023 to highlight new music in a unique way by sharing with radio listeners the thoughts of the biggest stars in different formats in a series of revealing and exclusive vignettes across AC, Alternative, CHR, Country, Hot AC, Rock and Urban formats. The shows feature artist commentary on the song, with artists presenting different aspects of their song's personal meaning, the inspiration behind the music, and insights on their life and career.

Previous campaigns have featured Valory Music Co. recording artist Thomas Rhett's "Angels (Don't Always Have Wings),"Republic Records recording artist Shania Twain's "Giddy Up!,"Capitol Records Nashville recording artist Darius Rucker's "Fires Don't Start Themselves," Thirty Seconds To Mars' "Stuck," Atlantic Records recording artist Janelle Monáe's "Lipstick Lover," Broken Bow Records recording artist Lainey Wilson's "Watermelon Moonshine," Warner Music Nashville recording artists Dan + Shay's "Save Me The Trouble," Atlantic Records recording artist Gucci Mane's "There I Go," Arista Records recording artist Mäneskin's "Honey (Are U Coming?)," BBR Music Group recording artist Jason Aldean's "Let Your Boys Be Country," BBR Music Group artist Jelly Roll's "Halfway to Hell," Pearl Jam's "Dark Matter," Warner Music Nashville's Zac Brown Band's "Tie Up," and Mötley Crüe's "Dogs of War" on Big Machine Records.
