Shell plc (UK) (GB:SHEL) has released an update.
Shell plc has announced the purchase and subsequent cancellation of a significant number of its own shares on different trading venues as part of their previously disclosed buy-back program initiated on May 2, 2024. The buy-back program, which is set to continue until July 26, 2024, is being managed by BNP PARIBAS Financial Markets SNC, who will make independent trading decisions. This action follows the company’s authority to repurchase shares both on and off the market within preset parameters and is in compliance with regulatory rules on share buybacks.
