Gelonghui, May 10, 丨 Casa Tianjiao (02223.HK) announced that on May 6, 2024, Casa Life applied to Huicheng District Court for additional claims (“Apply for additional claims”) for Hunan Qixing (1) to pay the second phase of the investment amount of RMB 2 million (due and payable before April 30, 2024); (2) a fine of RMB 2 million accumulated at an annual interest rate of 6%.
The Huicheng District Court originally scheduled to hear the claim and the application for additional claims on May 9, 2024. Due to Hunan Qixing's failure to attend the hearing and the Huicheng District Court's failure to deliver judicial documents relating to the claim and application for additional claims to Hunan Qixing by mail, the hearing has been adjourned, and the Huicheng District Court will determine and notify the new date of the hearing after sending judicial documents to the defendant using notice as an alternative method.
The Group is currently seeking legal advice on the lawsuit and will actively exercise its rights to protect its rights, including but not limited to taking appropriate action and seeking appropriate remedies with respect to all current and future rights under the joint venture contract.
