On May 9, GCT.US announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024. During the reporting period, total revenue was US$251.1 million, up 96.5% year on year; gross profit was US$66.5 million, up 124.7% year on year; gross margin increased to 26.5%, up 340 basis points, up from 23.1% in the first quarter of 2023; net revenue was US$27.2 million, up 71.1% year on year. Diluted earnings per share increased 69.2% to $0.66, up from $0.39 in the first quarter of 2023. Adjusted EBITDA increased 74.2% from $19.8 million to $34.5 million in the first quarter of 2023. As of March 31, 2024, the total amount of cash, restricted cash and investments was $196.2 million, up 6.5% year over year. The company expects total revenue for the second quarter of 2024 to be between $265 million and $280 million.
