Nexgen Energy (US) (TSE:NXE) has released an update.
NexGen Energy Ltd. has announced a significant purchase of natural uranium concentrate worth US$250 million, which will be paid for through the issuance of unsecured convertible debentures. These debentures, bearing a 9.0% interest rate over a five-year term, can be converted into approximately 23 million common shares at a premium to the current trading price. The completion of this strategic transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to be finalized by June 28, 2024.
