RELX plc (GB:REL) has released an update.
RELX PLC has actively engaged in the repurchase of its own shares, securing 203,874 ordinary shares through UBS AG London Branch on the London Stock Exchange, which will now be held as treasury shares. This latest transaction has increased the company’s treasury holdings to 33,574,965 shares, with the total number of shares in issue standing at 1,874,753,777, excluding those held in treasury. The buyback is part of an ongoing program that has seen RELX PLC purchase 13,862,772 ordinary shares since the start of the year.
