Everyone's Music Group (00341) announced that it expects to acquire shareholders for the financial year ending March 31, 2024...

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dajia Luck Group (00341) announced that the group expects to obtain profit attributable to shareholders of approximately HK$330 million for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, compared to HK$114 million in profit attributable to shareholders for the same period in 2023. The Group did not receive any government funding in response to the COVID-19 pandemic during the year under review (last year: HK$40.9 million). Excluding funding for the pandemic, the profit attributable to Group shareholders during the year under review is estimated to be 4.7 times that of last year.

According to the announcement, the expected increase in net profit is mainly due to the fact that during the year under review, all businesses in Hong Kong, China, including fast food, casual dining, and institutional catering, improved when economic growth was slower than expected and there was a net outflow of tourists, and the expected performance was better than last year. Fast Food is committed to product design and menu selection, brand promotion planning and marketing activities; effective cost control, productivity improvement, digitalization and automation also helped improve its profit margin during the year under review. The Group's performance expectations for the Hong Kong classification were affected by higher property valuation losses in the year under review than last year. Mainland China business recovered significantly, with strong same-store sales growth and steady profit margins. The Group continues to expand its network of stores, looking back at the record high number of new stores during the year. The Group has established a solid foundation throughout the Greater Bay Area to promote sustainable business growth.
