Gelonghui, March 5 | Dawn Co., Ltd. (002838.SZ) said on the investor interactive platform that DVA materials used for automobile tire gas barriers have made major breakthroughs in air tightness and material processing performance, achieving 7-10 times that of traditional butyl rubber gas barrier layers, and overcoming technical problems in fitting to treads and joint welding. DVA products have been used in self-healing tires and can be supplied in small quantities. A new breakthrough has been made in tire gas barrier technology. The product was successfully tested. Under the premise of the same air tightness, the weight reduction of a single tire reached 800-1000 grams, the rolling resistance was significantly reduced, and the fuel saving effect was remarkable. For the first time, the DVA preparation process realized DVA online coating and tire production, and is being promoted in cooperation with Linglong Tire.
