Our company and Daisei Every 24 Co., Ltd. (hereafter, EVERY24 President: Takamasa Tanaka) have begun demonstration operation of the joint delivery matching service “TRi,” which optimally connects shippers and multiple transportation companies.
The joint delivery matching service “TRi” is a system jointly developed with the aim of contributing to social issues of concern in the logistics industry, starting with the shortage of truck drivers. Not only when shippers such as manufacturers want to request delivery from carriers, but also transportation companies that want to use shared transportation can also be used, and when selecting the optimal delivery flight with “TRi,” it is possible to request an estimate from the transportation company involved in the relevant delivery. Not only can manufacturers easily build new commercial distribution networks, but transportation companies can also outsource delivery in areas that cannot be handled in-house across corporate boundaries, promoting joint delivery and making efficient delivery possible.
This time, we have begun demonstration operation of this system for food logistics in the chilled temperature range.
For “TRi,” Every24 is in charge of management and sales based on knowledge about overall logistics, and Aisin is in charge of system construction and operation by utilizing the technology of the logistics optimization service “BRIDGES @ny” *1, which has already been developed. Aisin and Every24 will cooperate with transportation companies and manufacturers nationwide to develop existing transportation routes on “TRi” and proceed with demonstration operation of services.
