$JetBlue Airways (JBLU.US)$ soared more than 15% after-hours Monday on reports that billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn had taken a nearly 10% stake in the carrier.
CNBC quoted securities filings as saying that Icahn had purchased JBLU shares in January and February, and that the billionaire had opened talks with management “regarding the possibility of board representation.”
