According to Zhitong Finance App, Aoneng Construction (01183) announced that on September 21, 2023, Aoneng International New Material Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. (Aoneng New Materials), an indirect non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangdong Zhongnan Steel Co., Ltd. (Zhongnan Steel).
According to reports, Zhongnan Steel is a large state-owned enterprise with an annual steel production capacity of more than 8 million tons. It is an important steel manufacturer and a national high-tech enterprise in Guangdong Province, China. Steel products cover long steel, various types of wires, bars and plates, etc., and are widely used in the automotive, petrochemical, machinery manufacturing, energy transportation, aerospace, nuclear power and other industries. Currently, research and development of new materials is continuously being strengthened, and more advanced production lines will be introduced to increase production capacity. As for Aoneng New Materials to promote Zhongnan Steel products to countries such as Hong Kong and Macao, Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, etc., Zhongnan Steel will also continue to increase support to guarantee orders for Aoneng New Materials in Hong Kong, Macao and overseas, while giving full play to the advantages of large national enterprises and working with Aoneng New Materials to develop green building markets in the Belt and Road countries.
