China Agricultural products Trading (00149) announced that on August 16, 2023 and September 7, 2023, the company further repurchased through the open market some of the outstanding notes with a total principal of HK $20 million, accounting for 5% of the total principal of the originally issued notes, together with other notes previously repurchased and cancelled, accounted for 75% of the total principal of the originally issued bills. Repurchases are financed by internal resources.
The repurchased bill will be cancelled as soon as possible after the repurchase. After the repurchased instrument is cancelled, the total principal of the instrument that has not yet been exercised will be HK $100 million, accounting for about 25% of the total initial principal of the instrument.
