Shares of major U.S.-listed Chinese companies traded mostly higher for the second day in a row on Thursday in Hong Kong.

Major tech stocks like $BABA-SW(09988.HK)$, $BIDU-SW(09888.HK)$, and $JD.com, Inc.-SW(09618.HK)$ gained between 1% and 3%, while $TENCENT(00700.HK)$ edged lower after paring early gains.

In the electric vehicle segment, $XPENG-W(09868.HK)$, $NIO-SW(09866.HK)$, and $Li Auto-W(02015.HK)$ gained as much as 3% during the early trading hours.

Shares of these Chinese companies ended mixed on U.S. bourses on Wednesday.
