Kuala Lumpur, May 20 (Reuters) - Malaysia's Exports Rose 16.4% In April From a Year Earlier, Driven by Strong Demand for Electrical and Electronic Products, the Trade Ministry Said on Tuesday.

The Increase in April's Exports Was More Than Double the 8% Growth Forecast by Economists in a Reuters Survey.

"the Growth in Exports Was Predominantly Driven by Robust Demand for Manufactured Goods, Particularly Electrical and Electronic Products, Which Increased by Almost 16 Billion Ringgit ($3.7 Billion)," the Trade Ministry Said in a Statement.
