$Cogeco Inc (CGO.CA)$ is preparing to launch wireless services in Canada in the coming quarters, following its expansion into the U.S. market last year. The company has already laid the groundwork to provide wireless coverage across its broadband network in Ontario and Quebec. Cogeco began offering wireless services under its Breezeline Mobile brand to customers in 13 U.S. states where it provides broadband internet, with plans to bring these services to Canada bundled with wireline products to enhance customer retention.

Canada Approved Bunge's $82亿 Acquisition of Viterra

The Canadian government has approved $邦吉 (BG.US)$ 's US$8.2-billion acquisition of Viterra Ltd., with conditions to address competition concerns. The Competition Bureau previously expressed worries that the deal could negatively impact competition in the grain and canola oil markets. To mitigate these concerns, Transport Canada has imposed strict controls on Bunge's minority stake in G3 Global Holdings, a major competitor to Viterra, to prevent Bunge from influencing G3's pricing or investment decisions.
