The total assets of the global ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) and ETP (Exchange Traded Product) industries reached a record $9.46 trillion as of the end of July, according to a report released on Tuesday by ETFGI, a research and consultancy on global ETF and ETP ecosystem trends.
Global net inflows of ETF and ETP reached $80.45 billion in July, bringing net inflows to a record $739.54 billion in the first seven months of the year, nearly double the $373.01 billion in the same period last year. Net inflows for the whole of this year are expected to break the record of $490.19 billion set last year.
