SYDNEY--Australian miner Regis Resources Ltd. said annual net profit fell by 27% on increased depreciation and amortization charges and as higher revenue from gold sales was offset by increased mining costs.

The company on Tuesday said net profit for the year ended June 30 fell to 146.2 million Australian dollars ($106.7 million) from A$199.5 million in the previous year.

Directors of the company declared a final dividend of 3 Australian cents, taking its full-year payout to 7 Australian cents.

Regis said full-year revenue was 8.0% higher, at A$819.2 million.
