The Dow Jones Industrial average and the S & P 500 closed at record highs for the third day in a row on Thursday, as large technology stocks led the market higher as investors reacted positively to jobs data that showed a steady recovery in the U.S. Economy. The Dow Jones Industrial average closed up 14.88 points, or 0.04%, at 35499.85; the Standard & Poor's 500 Index closed up 13.13 points, or 0.30%, at 4460.83; and the Nasdaq Index closed up 51.13 points, or 0.35%, at 14816.26.
