HUTCHTEL HK (00215.HK) has poured over $3 billion in expanding mobile network and developing 5G network since 2019, and will continue to be watchful of any investment and acquisition opportunities in Hong Kong or overseas, said Chairman Canning Fok at the press conference.

The company had distributed two times of special dividend after selling fixed network business in 2017, said Fok, who pledged to make good use of the money, adding the company will return to shareholders by way of dividend in absence of promising opportunity.

Unworried about the business performance, the Chairman was sanguine about the company's outlook, believing roaming fee income to come back sooner or later with ascending vaccination rate.

HUTCHTEL HK(00215.HK)主席霍建宁在新闻发布会上表示，自2019年以来，HUTCHTEL HK(00215.HK)已投入超过30亿美元用于扩大移动网络和发展5G网络，并将继续关注香港或海外的任何投资和收购机会。霍建华表示，该公司在2017年出售固网业务后，已经发放了两次特别股息。他承诺将很好地利用这笔钱，并补充说，在没有希望的机会的情况下，公司将以股息的方式返还给股东。董事长并不担心业务表现，他对公司的前景持乐观态度，认为漫游费收入迟早会随着疫苗接种率的上升而回升。
