BYD Surges Nearly 6% After Lunch; GEELY Climbs 4.1%; GREATWALL, EVERG VEHICLE, DONGFENG Drop 2-4%

Automobile stocks' performances vary today. BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) extended its surge after lunch to 5.9% at one stage and narrowed it to 4.6% afterwards, setting its 3-month high, last posted $224.2, on a volume of 13.01 million shares.

Another blue chip stock, GEELY AUTO (00175.HK), likewise, extended its rise to 4.1% after lunch, last posted $22.95, on a volume of 72.85 million shares.

Several other automobile stocks, on the contrary, gave back around 2-4%, including DONGFENG GROUP (00489.HK), GREATWALL MOTOR (02333.HK) and EVERG VEHICLE (00708.HK).

汽车类股今日表现不一。比亚迪公司(01211.HK)午后涨幅一度扩大至5.9%，之后涨幅收窄至4.6%，创下3个月新高，最新报224.2美元，成交量为1,301万股。同样，另一只蓝筹股吉利汽车(Geely Auto)午后涨幅扩大至4.1%，最新报22.95美元，成交量为7,285万股。相反，其他几只汽车股的回吐幅度在2-4%左右，包括东风集团(00489.HK)、长城汽车(02333.HK)和EVERG Vehicle(00708.HK)。
