Pearson PLC has announced the buyback of 702,108 of its own shares at prices ranging from 948.80p to 961.00p, with an average cost of 955.50p per share, as part of its ongoing share repurchase program initiated on March 1, 2024. The shares bought on the London Stock Exchange through Citigroup Global Markets Limited will be cancelled, signifying a move to potentially enhance shareholder value.
