Pearson plc has successfully executed a buy-back transaction of its own shares on May 15, 2024, acquiring 332,000 ordinary shares at prices ranging from 985.00p to 993.00p, with an average cost of 988.68p per share. These shares will be subsequently cancelled as part of the company’s ongoing buy-back programme initiated earlier on March 1, 2024. The move is part of Pearson’s strategy to optimize its capital structure and deliver value to its shareholders.
