Standard Chartered (GB:STAN) has released an update.
Standard Chartered PLC has bought back 1,030,000 of its own shares as part of its 2024 Buy-back program, spending an aggregate of US$695,785,131.26 to date. The shares were purchased through the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging from 771.80 to 780.60 pence per share. The company intends to cancel these shares, which will reduce the total number of voting rights to 2,582,444,266 following recent changes to their share voting structure.
