Just before the closing bell, the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ had fallen flatly 0.02%, the $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ also declined 0.21%, and the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ climbed 0.29%.
This week, investors can expect macroeconomic data prints in the form of PPI on Tuesday, and CPI prints Wednesday. Multiple Federal Reserve Governors and FOMC members will speak, and investors will look for comments on rates and monetary policy. Jerome Powell will speak late Tuesday.
Weekly Jobless Claims came in high at 231k Thursday morning, with another weekly print this Thursday.
The $U.S. 2-Year Treasury Notes Yield (US2Y.BD)$ was 4.86, the $U.S. 10-Year Treasury Notes Yield (US10Y.BD)$ was 4.48.
