Standard Chartered (GB:STAN) has released an update.
Standard Chartered PLC has announced the purchase of 1,054,857 of its own ordinary shares as part of its 2024 Buy-back program, with prices ranging from 756.4 to 777.4 pence per share. The company plans to cancel these shares, which will result in a total of 2,583,474,266 ordinary shares remaining in issue, each holding one vote. The buy-back and cancellation of shares are part of the company’s previously announced plans and are in line with regulatory requirements.
