On May 9, 2024, Lucky Coffee and Peking University Medical School jointly unveiled the “Peking University Medical Lucky Coffee Health Innovation Base”. The two sides announced that they will conduct in-depth research cooperation in the field of coffee health. Guo Jinyi, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Lucky Coffee; Yang Fei, co-founder and chief growth officer of Lucky Coffee; Academician Qiao Jie, Peking University Executive Vice President and Medical Director; Xiao Yuan, Deputy Director of the Medical Department; Wan You, Party Secretary of Peking University School of Basic Medicine; and Kong Wei, Director of Peking University School of Basic Medicine, attended.

The base will aim to promote education and research in the field of coffee health, and further stimulate the academic innovation and research enthusiasm of research teams and students by providing internships and practical opportunities, setting up innovative research topics, establishing professional health databases, and rewarding medical innovation achievements. The base will better support the development of Peking University medical education, promote the education and teaching of Peking University medical undergraduate students, cultivate innovative talents, and develop disciplines, help basic medical schools achieve better results from a new historical starting point, and work together to “achieve a better tomorrow.”
