Scoot unveils new Embraer E190-E2 aircraft

It marked its inaugural flight on 7 May. 

Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), has begun operating its first Embraer E190-E2 aircraft.

The aircraft has 122 seats in a 2-2 single-class configuration, a standard seat pitch of 29”, and larger cabin windows.

It took off its inaugural flights to Krabi and Hat Yai on 7 May.

The second E190-E2 aircraft has landed in Singapore and is undergoing preparations for service.

Delivery of the remaining seven aircraft will be progressively completed by the end of 2025.

As of 7 May, Scoot flies to 67 destinations across 15 countries and territories in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe.
