At Encompass Health Corporation’s annual stockholders’ meeting in Birmingham, Alabama, key decisions included the election of 10 board-nominated directors, the ratification of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the independent auditor, and the approval of executive compensation. A shareholder proposal for a report on diversity efforts failed to pass. With over 94% of voting power represented, the election and auditor ratification received strong support, while the diversity report did not garner sufficient votes.
