Nera Telecommunications Ltd (NeraTel) has reported a significant 61.1% increase in order intake to $42.7 million for the first quarter of 2024, despite a decline in revenue to $22.3 million from the previous year’s $40.3 million. The drop in revenue was primarily due to reduced contributions from Government, Transport and Utilities (GTU) and Service Provider (SP) sectors, partially balanced by gains in the Enterprise (ENT) sector. The company also improved its gross profit margin slightly amidst a tough economic climate marked by volatility and rising costs.
