Gelonghui, April 30 | Greek Education International Holdings (01765.HK) announced that for the six months ended February 29, 2024, the Group's revenue was RMB 2.04 billion, an increase of 5.5% over the same period last year. This increase is mainly due to a significant increase in the number of students enrolled in school and an adjustment in fee standards. The Group's net profit was RMB 240 million, down 44.1% from the same period last year. The company's ordinary equity holders should account for a profit of RMB 0.027 per share.

The company continues to increase investment in running schools and improve the conditions for running schools. During the reporting period, the company invested capital and resources to build new school buildings, expand the space, purchase teaching facilities and equipment, and improve the campus environment. During the reporting period, more than 100 million yuan was invested in software and hardware for practical training, more than 50 new training rooms were built, and more than 20 new majors were applied for.

In the 2023-2024 school year, the number of newly enrolled students from colleges and universities surpassed 100,000 for the first time, and the number of current students exceeded 290,000, reaching another record high. In the past 5 years, the compound growth rate of newly enrolled students in colleges was 26.4%, and the compound growth rate of current students was 27.6%.
