(01053) announced results for the first quarter of 2024, with operating income of about 7.736 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 26.11%; net loss attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 334 million yuan, an increase of 216.5% over the previous year; and a basic loss of 0.04 yuan per share.
According to the announcement, the increase in losses was mainly due to the continuous decline in the sales price of commercial billets, high costs, and increased losses.
