According to the Zhitong Finance App, Kangda Foods (00834) announced results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of 1,657 billion yuan (RMB, same below) during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 5.07%; shareholders' losses of 8.353 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 45.82%; and a basic loss of 1.93 points per share.
The announcement said that in fiscal year 2023, revenue from sales in China increased 2.6% to 1,220 billion yuan. Revenue from processed foods and chilled and frozen chicken contributed to most of the increase in domestic sales revenue. Revenue from export sales decreased by 21.5%% to $437 million in fiscal year 2023. The decline in sales of pet food has led to a decline in overseas revenue.
