According to the Zhitong Finance App, Automated Systems (00771) announced annual results for 2023, with revenue of HK$2.36 billion, up 6.5% year on year; profit of HK$131 million during the year, up 29.3% year on year; basic profit of HK$15.75 per share, with a proposed final dividend of HK3 cents per share.
According to reports, the increase in profit is mainly due to the increase in earnings of affiliate companies with unconventional projects compared to last year. In the current year, the Group's business signed new orders of approximately HK$2,496 billion. As at 31 December 2023, the balance of on-hand orders for the Group's business was approximately HK$1,509 billion. The Group's bank deposits and cash and term deposits totaled approximately HK$540 million, while the working capital ratio was 1. 92:1. The Group's financial position remains strong. As at 31 December 2023, the loan balance was HK$11.3 million.
