SunCon Lands RM748m Data Center Contract for US Tech Corporation
Sunway Construction Group Bhd's (SunCon) subsidiary, Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd, has clinched a contract worth RM747.8 million to construct a data center for a leading US multinational technology corporation in Selangor.
双威建筑集团有限公司（SunCon）的子公司Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd已获得一份价值7.478亿令吉的合同，将在雪兰莪州为一家领先的美国跨国科技公司建造一个数据中心。
The project is scheduled to commence on May 15 and expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2027.
该项目计划于5月15日开始，预计将于2027年第二季度完成。
While the project is not anticipated to have an immediate material impact on SunCon's financial metrics for the fiscal year ending 2024, it is projected to contribute positively to the company's earnings from 2024 onwards, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
尽管该项目预计不会对SunCon截至2024财年的财务指标产生直接的实质性影响，但除非出现任何不可预见的情况，否则预计它将为公司2024年以后的收益做出积极贡献。
SunCon's share price closed unchanged at RM2.73 today, maintaining its market capitalisation at RM3.53 billion.
