Junsi Group (01412) announced that in the six months ending June 30, 2023, the Group expects to record an unaudited comprehensive profit of HK$32.5 million to HK$37.5 million, compared to HK$53.7 million in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 30.17%-39.48%.
The board believes that the decline is mainly due to a decrease in the Group's original equipment manufacturer (“OEM”) sales revenue in the first six months of 2023 compared to the first six months of 2022. This is mainly due to continued inflationary pressure during the first six months of 2023 and the slowdown in global economic growth, which weakened the consumer climate and reduced demand for products from several major OEM customers. Despite the decline in the Group's OEM sales revenue, the Group's website sales revenue remained stable in the first six months of 2023.
