Zhitong Finance App News, Yu Cheng Kejin (00279) announced that on June 30, 2023, ARTA-eMALI HK Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) signed an IT infrastructure contract with the solution provider, appointing the solution provider as a technology solution provider to develop and deliver project-related deliverables. The total cost payable by ARTA under the IT infrastructure contract was HK$7.05 million.
It is reported that the solution provider mainly operates as a technology solution provider, has participated in other projects awarded by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and has won many awards for its rich experience in blockchain and cryptography. ARTA retains specific personal services from solution providers as business resources to assist ARTA in completing other aspects of the project, such as regulatory liaison and development of pilot project specifications.
According to the announcement, according to the IT infrastructure contract, the solution will help ARTA design, build and deploy front-end and back-end IT infrastructure. Such facilities support (including) CBDC's e-wallet hosting, CBDC payment services, and CBDC investment, incorporating user guidance, privacy protection, and security functions. The development and delivery of deliverables under the IT infrastructure contract include accounts as an investment in the company. Furthermore, it is anticipated that through this investment, the Group will have the technical ability to provide technical solutions with financial applications under the project.
