Bright Smart's research head Stanley Chik said US bourses had lost compass overnight, citing the ceaseless inflationary pressure alongside a mild US economic expansion in April and May. Tech and energy players were in shape, whereas raw material and discretionary stocks were lackluster. The three key US indices saw little change, with DJIA closing up 25 pts to 34,600. S&P 500 added 6 pts to 4,208, while Nasdaq gained 19 pts or 0.14% to 13,756.
