the biggest mistake is that I bought Alibaba, lol...no one could think it can keep going down to the bottom. it does make me loss some investment, I'm like do not get any profit because of it... i would say that even though those blue chip stocks are expensive, but they are more stable and give better dividend, not like Alibaba, nothing but loss money...
these big organisations has professional who analyze the market. we also can find what are the favourite stocks they prefer, each sell and purchase can tell us some information of market and how they react to the changes. so I personally feel it is a reference to me, I can learn something from it.
I learn that those expensive stocks they are quite strong such as Microsoft Apple, they are worth to buy. those penny stocks, they may have potential in future, but to me, I want to see profit now, so I will choose those blue chip stocks.
$XIAOMI-W(01810.HK$I feel like Hong Kong stocks as a whole aren't very good... It keeps falling.

I didn't think it was a bull market.....if it is a bull market, why some of my stocks haven't made any profit....maybe only apple are doing well right now. the stock market is like this, if there is a rise then there will be a fall. we have to stand the test of time.
frankly speaking, I only did day trading at paper trading before. if you only have a small amount of money, it is hard to make money within a short period. But I do have some stocks making profit within a very short period, and I didn't sell them, I still prefer to make friend with time. hahah.
I have no idea about those stocks, I won't buy it just because of its recent jump in market. Its painful if you fall down from top. Hope it is not short-lived and wish whoever bought those stocks have a harvest season.
No doubt that earnings do affect the stock price, even though this is not the only reason. Each quarter's earnings show whether this company is able to make profit or not, and on the day of the financial report releasing, we can also know the company's future plan. of course that earnings can affect investers' confidence. Let's say a company doesn't really doing well in industry for a couple of years, that will definitely affect investment from institution. I do see some company actually doing well, not that bad, but because of other factors that also affecting company such as Alibaba.
