my investment goals will be to make steady contributions throughout the year and not worry about the day to day or short term. reduce stress and trust that investments will grow over the long term.

2022 was my first year as an investor. I found out quickly that thinks don't always go as planned. My portfolio quickly fell and it still not back to it's original value but I have confidence that in the long term the investments will grow as hoped. In the mean time earning moo points is a fun side activity.
Setbacks are a chance to slow down, take a breath, and rethink what you are doing. After investing the bulk of my savings into stocks 6 months ago and watching it go down each day/ week I shifted from thinking maybe I could learn day trading to deciding that's not for me, I'm in it for the long game. Have been buying the dip all along.
I'm new to stock investing and just started a month ago. As we all know the market has been dropping rapidly and as a new investor it's disheartening to immediately watch all my heard earned money only drop in value. So I'm looking to the community to reassure me that this money will eventually grow for my retirement in 10-15 years.
