STD0825 OP Parp : Its not about anything more than supply and demand. Dont over complicate it. I thing a more reasonable target would be 500 billion but that is still almost double its current value. And you are correct.....at some point a different way to store memory will come along and disrupt, or maybe 15 years from not when the build out is done.....there will be an over supply and the price will plummet. But dismissing the current market is like watching someone throw hundred dollar bills at you and you leaving them there because inflation was to high at that time. Its a market with a log jam and almost infinite pricing power.

STD0825 OP : I understand what you are saying, and I am not denying its validity. Tomorrow some small no name could turn the whole market upside down. But, you have to trade the market you are in today. Today's market is highly driven by near term headlines and blowen out earnings. I think what older successful traders view as an over bloated market, is simply a market adjusting to what I think of as "The retail traders market". I believe that the derivatives market has ballooned to such a cash cow that market makers cant step away. Combined with PFOF, plus an ever increasing amount of retail participants, and an SEC that has realized they want retail here and trading. Look at the coming removal of the 25k threshold for day trading rules. They know that for every one retail investor that builds a portfolio  over time and work towards wealth there are 100 that will stay stuck in penny stocks losing. Another 100 that will drop stupid sums to options. We are becoming better though. The better we get, the more money there is to support over bloated MCs. They want us flipping our accounts everytime a new headline appears. The Market is a Market to them. Sorry caught me a weekend, pretty stoned.....

STD0825 Casino of Crypto : it has been a infinit money machine with almost to the penny predictability. What more could you ask for. No we will play the same game between 1.39 to 1.46 to easy. Stop worrying about when it will reach 10, and start looking at what has been presented.

STD0825 : so the first problem is you cant break PDT rules on a Cash account. They dont have any DTR....they have good faith violations. And you will be allowed to trade in the cash account. Just on a settled cash only. Seeing all trades settle in T1 you will always have funds the next day. And honestly, not sure what you are trading. But if they are decent names that you jump in and 10 minutes later you want out because it dropped .45 cent. Trading only settled funds will make you a better trader. If you are trading penny stocks and are violating GF you should prolly look into strong names and realize it takes time to get rich. They where very hard lessons for me also......good luck, OH BTW, June 14th I believe, all margin accounts will not have a 3 trade cap over 5 days, it will be a fairer system to small capital investors. Just when I really dont have to worry about it anymore they remove it.
