To deal with losses, it depends on how many percent the losses I suffer.
If the losses is about 10%, I might do the cut lost. However, there are cases our share down by 30% or 40% during the pre-market. And it keep going down later.
For that cases, I don't feel like want to cut lost. If still confident with the company, hold it. If I found another more potential stock, I will sell 1/2, 2/3 or even 3/4 then put all those money into another stock which I think more potential.
Then go back to work ...

I not yet start purchase any stock in year 2022. Personally I am aiming good entry point for financial sector's stocks and ETF like $Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLF.US$. Other stocks like $American Airlines(AAL.US$ or $Carnival(CCL.US$ also looks good subjected to the pandemic status. 😅
