I noticed that most of the time when companies release their earning, it will cause the share to slide downward. This scene has been playing for a couple of times, $Alibaba(BABA.US$ $Apple(AAPL.US$ $Pinterest(PINS.US$ Even if the companies are showing positive earnings, the share price will still slide downward.

this is always on my mind since the first day I started my investing journey. when to buy and when to sell. I am sharing based on my experience. I think alot of research and homework have to be done on the company you are investing. (looking at the financial documents and key indicators like PE ratio and etc) once you are sure of the company and have enough capital, that will be the time to buy. so when to sell? first of all, are you holding it for long term or short term? you should set your own profit and loast target. so once it hit the target then you can start to sell.

run through the courses provided by moomoo. do your own research and calculation. you should never invest based on gut feeling or instinct because investing in shares is unliked gambling. should never mixed them up. learn the fundamental first and slowly move up to intermediate. @moomoo Courses is the right place to go before you start investing.

i really think this is a very important question to all investors. we could have done research and homework on a particular company and are sure that it is a sound decision to invest. but now the big question, at what price should i invest and at what price should i sell? i wonder who the ones shorting $Alibaba(BABA.US$ shares. the current share price does not reflect correctly on a company with such good sales record and balance sheet. so what is going on?
i always feel that golden opprtunity should not be missed. Golden oportunity don't always come knocking. If you dont answer this round, you might need to wait for another 10 years for the same opoportunity to come. So if you have done your homework and research, knowing that this is the golden moment to invest, then by borrowing more money to invest is definitely a right move!

There is so much potential in Alibaba. The company has performed out of the expectation almost every year, with huge sales from it's e -commerce, reporting positive revenues yearly.
I cannot find any reasons for such performing company to fail. Should definately buy more with the current huge discount. Alibaba will only emerge stronger than before.

Tim Cook can never replaced Steve's postion. I think Steve is one of a kind ceo that has shaped Apple into an innovative and ever evolving company. He had the charisma to charm people to work hard for him. He was humble and was very determined in getting his idea across to the consumer. Steve can never be replaced and if he is still around, Apple's share will be at least 10x times better than current.

Vaccine stocks will be on the rise for at least 2 years. There is a need for a breakthrough in coming up with a vacine for covid and its ever mutatig varianes. These stocks will contnue to be on the limeight.
