Buffett first bought AAPL in '16 when it was ~$600B MC. In the 6 years since it has returned ~$500B (90% of MC) to shareholders via div/buybacks. Pretty dam impressive
Buffett clarified that Apple is not 35% of Berkshire's portfolio like a questioner suggested because that figure does not account for the non-publicly traded businesses owned by the conglome...

Goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023. It was a rough year and everybody is happy to see it go. From inflation to the Russian war, it seemed like there was no hope for equities at the beginning of the year. And it absolutely turned out to be a terrible year for equities.
