Nonphysical, vaguely understood, vague origins, vague value largely if not entirely based on speculation, hype and what-if future scenarios…manipulatable, programmable, internationally transferrable, hard to trace in certain hands…and easy to steal out of others.
I think from the human point of view this is the wrong technology to invest in. Why would we want a future where governments are trying to sell us/move us onto CBDC’s? That reality is worse than this one. There are certainly use cases for this tech in the cyberspace but we shouldnt be looking at it to replace fiat.
The fiat needs fixed not replaced with something even worse.
