According to the principle of value investing, people should pick stocks that appear to be trading for less than their book value. Which means buy when the stock price drops. There's another group of people who trade oppositely. They follow the market trend to buy and sell. The more a stock price has risen, the more they buy-in.
So which way is more "right"? The fact is, the reality is all grey areas. There are very few black and white answers. Don't rid yourself of ideology and narrowness. There are hundreds of ways to get rich if you stay open-minded. Different methods can be used in different scenarios.

I want to share my 2022 forecast for anyone who cares.
I see the pandemic as out of control and raging on throughout the year. (Mask up and pray we live to see the end of this pandemic)
I think air travel will slow down but I think car traveling is going to pick up. (Experts warn you are 3* more likely to catch covid on a plane than before Omicron)
2022 is the year of the electric vehicle. At least 10 manufacturers begin delivering units in 2022. (Ford, Audi, BMW, Kia, GMC ETC...) And although the economy might slow down from the virus. The money is already allocated to electric charging infrastructure 7.5B minimum. I love them. They are all unique but CHPT has the best numbers and should join Tesla as the only profitable charging company next year.
Power storage is going to accelerate rapidly. Tesla leads the charge but some of my favorite small caps are (EOSE, Polar Power, FCEL)
Also I would add Dogecoin anytime you can because the Dodge 1 rocket will the first cryptocurrency to the Moon literally... According to SpaceX D1's launch is scheduled for the first quarter 2022. (Jan, Feb, Mar)
Definitely not financial advice, just a friendly heads up on what I forecast and why.
My investment of the year was Dogecoin. I bought at .003 and sold at .50 .60 & .70. Roughly 16,000% ROI
However this year was not a great year at all. don't let the numbers fool you. This is a new age of investing. Most of the company suffered setbacks in 2021, only to be covered up by more than 1600 new companies coming to market this year... That is the only reason the indexes are higher on the year.
Stop reading articles and then selling your stocks. Don't be manipulated in 2022, hold strong. Have your convictions and hold strong in the face of a bad article or headline. "The market is just the transfer of money from the impatient to the patient" (Buffet)

When can I get the vaccine? One of the most-searched questions on Google indicates people's biggest worry in 2021. However, it's an entirely different story for vaccine stocks holders. Sometimes they want the market sentiments to be different because they found that the line in the cases-versus-price graph increases exponentially.
Instead of getting vaccinated, investors stared at news channels. They tried to find the next catalyst for a strong momentum of growth. Are they speculating? Yes, they are. Maybe you'd like to join them if you look at the cost-benefit ratio or the daily performance of the trending vaccine stocks.
Anyway, I sincerely hope that the vaccines will be enough for every mooer![]()
. Sufficient supply also indicates healthy cash flows... Oh, I mean, the virus might stop spreading if most of us are vaccinated.
We also hope that the vaccine stocks could become value stocks with solid business models and stable cash flows one day. In that case, there will be no need for us to be on tenterhooks all day, waiting for monthly job reports or the infection numbers anymore.
