$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ Learning options 👀Kaichuan Talks Investment
The market already knows that this Tesla earnings report shows poor revenue and EPS, and even negative cash flow. Based purely on the financials, everyone expects a big drop. (This is similar to Q1 of last year when Tesla’s April performance was also terrible, but afterward, its stock price rebounded and hit new highs by the end of the year.)
But Wall Street doesn’t focus on this quarter’s results; it looks at the company’s forecast for the next quarter. And for Tesla, it’s all about how Musk will paint the picture during the earnings call and express the outlook.
$Vertiv Holdings (VRT.US)$ The results were good, but market expectations were higher, so the stock price rose beforehand. Now, with Q2 guidance falling short of expectations, the stock needs to pull back a bit.
In summary, the short term is unpredictable, but if you have confidence in the company, hold for the long term and don’t be swayed by noise. (Most people gain confidence when the stock price rises and lose it when it falls.)
Still looking forward to a positive surprise in the after-hours earnings report, after all, I’ve supported them for so long 🥳
$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ The main leader in the sector will definitely continue to dominate! Industry leader, the stock price has been consolidating for 9 months, waiting to soar!
$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ Having both CPU and GPU, it has great potential. It is mainly the second runner-up, just needs to increase its market share a bit...

My strategy for this earnings season has centered on the "Second Wave" of AI adoption. While the market initially focused solely on chip design, my portfolio pivot into AI infrastructure (CoreWeave, Nebius) and specialized memory (Micron) has provided the strongest alpha.
Semiconductor Dominance: I held Intel (INTC) and Micron (MU) through their turnaround cycles, betting on the recovery of the PC market combined with the massive demand for HBM (High Bandwidth Memory). ...

$Intel (INTC.US)$ is scheduled to report its fiscal Q1 2026 earnings on Thursday, April 23, 2026, after the market closes. This report is a critical "prove-it" moment for the stock, which has surged approximately 74% year-to-date on AI optimism and turnaround momentum under CEO Lip-Bu Tan.
Q1 2026 Consensus Estimates
Revenue: ~$12.4 billion (consistent with Intel's guidance of $11.7B – $12.7B).

After reading through 'The Great Way,' a summary of Duan Yongping's insights, several times recently, my understanding of value investing has deepened further. This piece is primarily intended for those who genuinely wish to grasp the underlying logic of 'value investing.' However, one reality must be clarified first: as Buffett said, only a minority are accustomed to earning slow money, while most retail investors in the market lean towards making quick profits through stock trading, leading to frequent swing trading. Nevertheless, even if you engage in swing trading or active trading, understanding value investing remains meaningful. In the US stock market and other mature markets, there are still many outstanding companies that can be understood from an 'enterprise perspective.'
We often see people asking, 'Can I buy this stock at this price?' So, what is the basis for deciding whether it’s a good buy or not?
Benjamin Graham has a classic quote:'In the short run, the market is a voting machine but in the long run, it is a weighing machine,' where the 'weighing' refers not to sentiment, but to the intrinsic value of the company itself.
Returning to the fundamental logic:'Buying stocks is essentially buying companies, and buying companies means buying discounted future cash flows. Understanding a company means understanding its moat.'

The market this week still feels a bit volatile, unable to rise significantly or fall much, just kind of stuck in that back-and-forth grinding state.
This week I mainly executed two trades:
Bought TQQQ twice (around -114 and -120). Received some QQQ dividends +3.66 and cash interest +14.36
Overall, there weren't any particularly aggressive moves, just slowly adding to my position. Personally, I think the current level isn't too high, but I don't dare to go all in either, so I'm buying gradually to feel more at ease.
TQQQ's volatility is quite significant; honestly, I felt a bit hesitant when buying it.

$Vertiv Holdings (VRT.US)$
Buy June 140-180 options in February
Switch to 200-240 options after making profits in late March
Doubled returns twice in a row! Hoping VRT stays above 240 by June!
Bullish $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ $Palantir (PLTR.US)$ Rebound from the bottom!

Systematic trading seems to limit the range of moves, as mean reversion kicks in more quickly

LeicesterM : Exited RKLY with +72k — clean. But was that a planned exit or did you just see the momentum cooling off?
