since ryan cohen won’t provide actual numbers, here’s what the math looks like if ebay accepts his proposal (they won’t):
$125 per share for $56b, half cash half gme stock. 56/2= $28b worth of gme shares need to be issued.
with gme trading at $25, 28b/25= 1.12b shares to be issued
total shares of the new entity after ebay acquisition = 448m (gme shares outstanding) + 1.12b = 1.568b total shares
ownership % = 448m (gme shares oustanding) / 1.568b (total shares) = ...
