$Newmont Corp(NEM.AU$ 's stock price is on a tear! Is this just a temporary market frenzy, or a sign that NEM is poised for a new era? My heart is racing with the chart! 💓📈
looks interesting here for a short, especially after the RBA rate decision, which left behind some dovish tunes.
However, I'm not convinced it's ready yet and think we can see a test of the range high before a more sustained move lower.
The trade is also quite crowded… $BHP Group Ltd(BHP.AU$

$Westpac Banking Corp(WBC.AU$ Should I jump on the Westpac bandwagon now or wait for more clarity on its earnings? 🚶♂️
While much of Bitcoin’s recent volatility has been in the upward direction, this is not always the case. Past successes do not guarantee future returns—especially when it comes to cryptocurrency....... $S&P/ASX 200(.XJO.AU$

A reminder that Australian east coast gas demand is dominated by exports.
In the last quarter, 85% of east coast gas was exported, 11% was for domestic commercial, industrial & residential use while 5% was for gas generators.

I put more emphasis on Copper when it retested the $4 breakout and now I don't see anything of real substance to stop it from testing $5 again. $Rio Tinto Ltd(RIO.AU$ $BHP Group Ltd(BHP.AU$

If it weren't for higher interest rates, rent and Australians stinginess, inflation would be much higher. The 3.4%, one could argue, is laughable too.
Inflation will continue to persist and will be most present in the property and stock markets. This is by design. Australians will get richer and richer while "happiness" will continue to grow in line. I mean, money buys "happiness", right? $S&P/ASX 200(.XJO.AU$ $S&P/ASX 200 OPIC(OXJO.AU$ $AUD(LIST20039.AU$

Can I point out that inflation has come down to near target despite this record migration? Like, both are rear view. The people have already been added, and inflation has already slowed to 3.4%. Over the same timeframe.
If that doesn't fit someone's mental model of how immigration affects price increases, it's time to adjust that mental model. That includes some statements from the RBA, by the way, not having a go at you, or posters here. It's a pervasive sort of confusion.
